Trisha Dunn -

Dancer / Choreography 2008

Trisha, who dances with Tasmania’s professional contemporary dance company, Tasdance, is exploring the world of choreography so that she may continue her life long commitment to her art. Trisha is spending 3 months in Italy working in the creation of a new performance, with cutting edge dance theatre company Deja Donne, internationally renowned for their exhilarating and explosive style, making works with strong social and political content.

William Lane - Musician Viola 2004

William is the recipient of the Claudio Alcorso Foundation's 2004 arts residency to Italy. William is a graduate of the Conservatorium of Music in Hobart majoring in Viola performance. In October he will travel to Cremona, Italy where William will study with Professor Bruno Giuranna – a viola specialist with a distinguished record in Europe.

Applicants for this residency were of a particularly high standard and the judging panel was very impressed at the breadth of talent in Tasmania. William is a talented student and a fine Ambassador for Tasmania. We wish him the very best.
