Megan Keating has a PhD in Fine Art from the University of Tasmania after studying Fine Arts for many years in Tasmania and Sydney. Keating has exhibited throughout Australia with a host of exhibitions to her name both solo and group. She most recently took out the coveted City of Hobart Art Prize with her paper cut Pulp and Smoke. Megan received an Australia Council Residency to Japan, has been a recipient of an Arts Tasmania Research and Development Grant and won the Gordon Darling Travel Grant for Plimsoll Gallery. In 2002 she won the People's Choice Award for the Hobart Art Prize. Her work features in collections for Artbank, the Australian Embassy in Beijing, and the BHP Collection, University of Sydney and private collections.
